Over the weekend of September 9-10, 2011, Our Lady of Confidence and St. Joseph Secular Carmelites in Savannah gathered at the Carmelite Monastery for our 2011 retreat. The retreat focused on the theme The Practice of the Prayer of Recollection Based on The Way of Perfection and featured three conferences by our provincial delegate Fr. Bonaventure Sauer, OCD.

Solitude: find a quiet place; look at Him within you; speak to Him as a father; recite the "Our Father"

The Retreat began on Friday at 4:00 pm at Bethany House, adjacent to the Carmelite Monastery, and concluded at 5:30 pm Saturday.
